Dr. Jack Ricci, DC, CFMT

Doctor of Chiropractic & Functional Medicine Practitioner

Dr. Ricci received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health from the State University of New York, College at Cortland in 1990. In 1998, he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas and received his certification as a Functional Medicine Practitioner in April of 2021.

Dr. Ricci has extensive continuing education in chiropractic neurology, functional medicine, and nutrition. He is certified as a physician acupuncturist. He is pleased to be the Chiropractor for the Shenandoah University Athletic Department.

He has gained a vast knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and nervous system from his experience as a Chiropractic Doctor. His perspective is distinctive when it comes to hypermobility, EDS, and POTS.

In addition, Dr. Ricci has attended numerous medical conferences, including continuing education opportunities focused on complex health conditions. He understands root connections within health conditions such as EDS, POTS, MCAS, autoimmunity, and epigenetics.

Having the opportunity to shadow a top POTS cardiologist at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Ricci gained specialty knowledge and insight to help his patients. He continues to do extensive research and stay up to date on the latest breakthroughs regarding the nervous system.

Currently, Dr. Ricci is training to become certified in neurofeedback and enjoys working up complex functional medicine cases. He enjoys staying active and enjoying life with his wife and five children in Northern Virginia.
